Jessica Bishai hails from Baltimore, Maryland, but is currently living in Cambridge, Massachusetts as an undergraduate student at Harvard College, class of 2020. She intends to concentrate in Statistics and Global Health. Her passion for public health stems from her travels to countries like India and Uganda and from her work as a Teen Advisor with the UN Foundation's Girl Up campaign, a "by girls, for girls" campaign which aims to empower, educate, and help girls worldwide. Jessica believes mathematics is a fantastic pathway into Global Health, and can't wait to see where STEM brings her!
